Mission Complete: Custom Room Images
The wait is finally over. I am so overjoyed by the results of my photographer, Amy Braswell. Thank you Amy! A big thanks to my brilliant partner in crime and interior designer, Colleen, that did a beautiful job with furniture selection and bringing the look of the room together. (I also think Colleen missed her calling as a photo stylist!) Thank you!

Day 3: Photo shoot
I can not wait until til Thursday night when I get all the pictures from the photo shoot in my hot little hands! But my fantastic photographer, Amy Braswell, after all day of shooting, no breaks and no lunch, emailed me a little tid bit just to give me a little taste of the images. Well I am thrilled with the results.
Check back on Friday for many more images.
Custom Room Installation: Day 2
Day 2 of installation on Tuesday went so smooth and the actual time to put the tree up only took about 2 1/2 hours. I sadly did not want it to end, because I had such a blast installing. I was torn between enjoying the process and witnessing the final piece. These images do not do the room justice, that is why I am hiring my brilliant photographer Amy Braswell to get the professional documentation I need. But this gives you an idea of the process. I will post the pro pictures once we finish the photo shoot on Wednesday.
For those of you just finding me you can start from the begining of the project here under "Kick the Bucket" post.

Here is one more image of the window treatments. Ok, I'm off to the photo shoot!
Custom Room Installation: Day 1
I could not sleep last night in anticipation of being able to see my hard work and vision come together. Monday was day one for the installation of the custom room, which entailed the bedding, ottoman, bed and floor pillows and the 3-Dimentional-corner branch with wallflowers and birdhouse. Tuesday will be day two of install, which will involve the main tree and all of its animal friends.
I was so jacked up on adrenalin and sheer excitement that I could hardly even focus to take decent pictures of in progress shots, although the kids and dog in the room did not help for picture taking. So, I will take more pictures of the tree install in progress and over all room on Tuesday. In the meantime, here are a view images to wet your appetite.

Magic Apple
We have been billing this custom room as Sleeping Beauty's Enchanted Forest to the 4 year old girl. She loves being a princess and dressing up, so I thought I would make her Sleeping Beauty's magic apple. I took one apple from the bucket of apples and hand sewed it with red sequins and seed beads to make my own version of the magic apple. I'm still in the process of figuring out were it will go in the room... perhaps I will velcro it to the 3-Dimensional branch.
I think I missed my calling a set designer....
