Tuff Kid : Pendant Lighting

The lighting alternatives that are available today is very refreshing! I love the gray color pallet and stitched detailing seams of these pedant lights from designers Rina Bernabei and Kelly Freeman, very Blade Runneresk. I see these being a great focal piece or inspiration starting point in both boys or girls room. Heck, I would like these lights over my bed! Tuff. Check out the entire collection from Bernabeifreeman.

Pop up Paper Placemats

When I came across this image of this Popmat made from recycled paper by Publique Living, I gasped. Not sure if I could bring myself to use them for eating but I would definitely use them for a mini installation on my dinning room table. Each design incorporates an area which doubles as a name card, as in the back of the chair, the mailbox, and the sign post. Smart!

Agnes and Hoss Contemporary Lighting Collection

I have been swooning over this lighting collection from Agnes & Hoss created by Chicago designer Stephanie Waddell for sometime. Her other collections of pillows, handbags and gifts are brilliant too, but what is truly unique is her hand drawn illustrations transformed into printed silk. Oh, if she only sold the fabric by the yard. Man.

I am particularly smitten with her Pipe Organ Coral pattern, wouldn't it make amazing floor lamp!
